Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne are the Brangelina kiddies, and it is great to see their very famous parents trying to instill some sense of normality into their lives. One of the things that Brad and Angelina do in their home is stop their 6 kids from being able to Google them.
“On all the kids’ computers we had our names blocked,” the actor, 48, told Germany’s Bild. “They can’t Google their mom and dad. I don’t want to make myself dependent on what other people think.”
It must be so incredibly difficult to bring up a family in a ‘normal’ way when you are as recognized as people like Brad and Angelina. When I read this news item this morning, it got me thinking about celebs and their kids…I think the decision to block their names on Google was a very well intentioned one because those kids would be exposed to things on the net that they don’t need to see at some a young age. It is also a way of normalizing their parents as mom and dad, rather than Brad and Angelina – who are known to the whole world by those first names. On the other hand…. is it important for those kids to know the real deal about their parents (the truth and the rumors) at some stage, maybe when they are older? I dont know…
What do you think of the censorship policy that the Brangelina parents have taken with their kids? What other things have celeb parents done to protect their kids?
