Just weeks after announcing their separation, Seal and Heidi Klum have both emerged – albeit, in different continents. Last week Seal revealed how he and Heidi told the kids about the big changes to the family, and yesterday Heidi was spotted alone with the kids in L.A while Seal was seen at the airport in Nice, France. On Sunday, January 29 Seal seen at the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport after attending the NRJ Music Awards 2012 in Cannes. Looking suave in a long black leather jacket, red velvet scarf and dark sunglasses, Seal walked briskly but did nothing to hide the fact that he still has his wedding band firmly placed on his left hand.
On the other side of the world, his now estranged wife, Heidi Klum, is spotted with their kids, Lou and Leni Samuel, leaving a karate school in Los Angeles. She too appears to have a thin gold band on her wedding finger (check out the pic of her holding her little one’s hand.)
While it is so sad to see this once so happily married couple apart, it is reassuring to see that both of them are still wearing their wedding rings. As they’ve said before, this is a separation not a divorce, so a reconciliation later on down the track is not out of the question. Heidi appears to be taking on the bulk of the everyday parenting back in L.A while Seal is traveling for work, although he did reveal (in the interview with Access Hollywood) that he plans to spend lots of quality time with his kids, as the upshot of the terrible situation. I do hope that we see this in the coming weeks, and he wasn’t just stating that for the cameras. Those kids will need the support of both their parents as they come to terms with the fact that the family isn’t what it used to be. So sad…
