Last week we saw gorgeous pics of mom-to-be, Hilary Duff, and we heard all about her wonderful baby shower. She is looking beautiful and we just know that she is going to make a great first-time momma. This week Hilary’s other baby, her dog Lola, had to undergo serious brain surgery for seizures. Her reaction to this shows us just how good a mom she is and is going to be. On Wednesday Hilary tweeted that her beloved chihuahua is “doing great” and recovering well from the surgery. It must be a big relief for Hilary that her little pup is recovering well from such a serious operation. Those with a pet will know that they are truly like a family member and something like this is devastating for the whole family. So glad to hear that Lola is doing well.
In other Hilary baby news, she is getting closer and closer to her due date. On Thursday, she updated us on things with her bub, tweeting, “Early morning dr appointment. Baby’s looking perfect! So it’s a great day..except for my ribs..which get a good solid kick every half hour!” So sweet! Earlier in the week she also wrote, “Laying around being lazy! its actually kinda hard for me to do!i just wanna attack the day but I’m sooo freakkken preggggs!C’mon baby! COOK!”
I love Hilary’s pregnancy updates. They are so lovely and real. Don’t worry Hilary, baby is cooking and getting ready to come out and say hello very soon. Looks like you’re gonna make a great mom to both the new babe and already are the best momma to little Lola. Lets all send our positive thoughts to the little doggy for a full and speedy recovery.
