Ok, so you’re not going to get a personal invitation into George’s palatial home for a cup of coffee, but the new series, Person To Person, will be featuring George’s L.A home next week. You’ll get to check out his kitchen, screening room, bar and more. The new show isn’t actually new, it was big in the 50′s. Read on for more details and which other celebs will feature on the show.
The Hollywood power couple, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler, would have to have a pretty special pad. I mean, really, aren’t you just dying to see where they live and how they live?
Along with his palatial digs, the Oscar winner, 50, also introduces viewers to a very special friend – his roommate Einstein, a black cocker spaniel whom he rescued in 2010. “The dog came in and threw himself at me,” Clooney recalls, “and I find that works also with some actors.” Clooney also shows off some favorite photographs, including a Rat Pack photograph from the original Ocean’s Eleven.
I'm so excited that the classic Person to Person series is back. My grandparents used to watch the show when it first debuted in 1953 and ran until the early 60s. They told me all about the groundbreaking interviews Edward Murrow did, going into the homes of celebrities and politicians including John and Jacqueline Kennedy, the divine Elizabeth Taylor and equally divine Marilyn Monroe and even Fidel Castro!
The updated version starting next week will resemble the original show (with some updates) and of course new hosts. Charlie Rose and Lara Logan will be taking us into the private homes of very public people – musical artists, actors, directors and political leaders. It is going to be an amazing insight into the lives of the people we love…
The episode airing next Wednesday, Fen 8th, will not only feature King Clooney but also Jon Bon Jovi, who will reveal his massive 16-acre New Jersey estate that apparently has its own recording studio and its own pub!!! I have a feeling that I’m going to have massive celeb envy when I watch this show… ooh total real estate porn for me!
