Shailene Woodley was one of the stars of the award winning film of the year, The Descendants. She played the role of George Clooney’s teenager daughter and really stood out amongst a great cast. After such a successful debut, Shailene has been targeted as one of the next breakout actresses. Today we get to see her on the cover of Vs.Magazine which is a further sign that she is one of the new up-and-coming stars to watch. She looks gorgeous in this pic, don’t you think? Very sultry as she turns her back to the camera with a mass of curls cascading down her back. For someone 20 years old, she looks incredibly mature and her eyes really stand out in this pic. It has also been tastefully done, in my opinion. We don’t see Shailene from the front (which I am glad about considering her age!) and the intrigue is further emphasized because she has turned her back and looking directly at us.
George Clooney adores Shailene. He told The Insider, that “I want to adopt Shailene [Woodley]… because she’s 20 and smart, and I figure she has a big career ahead and can support me. So, I’m looking to adopt very successful people.”
This mag cover titled ‘Intimate’ definitely captures this sense through this stunning pic. We are getting to see a more personal side to the new, young actress. Shailene has been put in the same category as Julianne Moore, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Elizabeth Olsen, Helena Christensen and Erin Wasson – all women who are the ‘muses’ of this issue. It is pretty incredible for Shailene to be considered amongst this class of women, and really points to the fact that she is one up-and-comer to keep an eye on.
